Northern Iowa — An agency that provides mental health services to a number of counties in the region announced on Monday that it will be discontinuing its services this coming June 30th.
Officials with Care Connections of Northern Iowa announced in a Facebook post that they were not selected as the recipient for the state’s request for proposal for either the Administrative Services Organization or the Disability Access Point. The post states that as a result, Care Connections’ services will conclude this coming June 30th. It goes on to say that “our priority remains the individuals and families who rely on these vital supports.” It states that Care Connections is working with state transition teams and new awardees to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of services.
The post goes on to thank the agency’s staff, providers and community partners for their years of work and support.
Care Connections provides services to Osceola, Clay, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Winnebago and Worth counties.
