Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon business is celebrating twenty years under its current ownership.
On the KIWA Morning Show this week, Carl’s Footwear owner Joel Bousema said that while the business has been in Sheldon for over sixty years, they are celebrating twenty years under their ownership.
Bousema tells us how it feels to celebrate twenty years.
He says they’ve got some specials going on to help celebrate.
Bousema says there have been many changes since they took over. He says the biggest change is competing on a global scale. He says they even do some e-commerce over long distances to customers located around the world.
