Sioux Center, Iowa — An agency that helps people in northwest Iowa struggling through financial difficulty is doing a golf fundraiser this month.
Tricia Driesen, the executive director of the Center For Financial Education tells us about the fundraiser.
She gives us the details of the golf tournament.
According to Driesen, the Center For Financial Education provides individualized coaching for people with money difficulties. She says sometimes that’s someone who is disabled and/or having major financial difficulty paying for essentials. But sometimes it’s someone who appears to be living well but has crippling medical or credit card debt. She says all their services are free to their clients.
She says they’re based in Sioux Center but they have offices in Orange City, Hawarden, Rock Rapids, and Le Mars. According to Driesen, last year they served clients from 44 zip codes in northwest Iowa, and they appreciate everyone’s support.
