Christmas Parade Of Lights Jeep Parade Winners

Sheldon, Iowa — It was a beautiful evening for a parade Saturday as the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation capped off Small Business Saturday with their inaugural Christmas Parade of Lights.

As part of the Parade of Lights, a Jeep Parade, sponsored by Ron Drenkow Motors and KIWA Radio, featured eight of the legendary Jeep vehicles, all decorated up for Christmas.

Prizes for the Jeep Parade, which were furnished by Ron Drenkow Motors, were given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, as judged by KIWA staff.

First place winner was a red Jeep Grand Cherokee owned by Brandi Feurstenberg. The vehicle was decorated to look like Santa Claus, complete with a big white beard on the vehicle’s grill and a Santa hat on top.

Second Place winner in the Jeep Parade was a blue Jeep Wrangler, owned by Dean and Angie Paulsen. Paulsen’s Jeep featured Christmas lights, as well as a large inflated snowman riding in the rear of the vehicle.

Third Place was taken by a black over white Jeep Wrangler owned by Derek and Ang Kamstra. Their jeep was festooned with a wreath on the front, Christmas lights, as well as variably colored lights shining from underneath the body of the vehicle.

The management and staff at Ron Drenkow Motors and KIWA extend a big thank you to all of the Jeep owners who took part in Saturday night’s Jeep Parade, which was part of the Christmas Parade of Lights.
