Get “Comeback Cash” Until 7 This Evening

Sheldon, Iowa– June 30th is here, that means that Sheldon residents have the opportunity to take advantage of “Comeback Cash”.

Last week (Monday, June 22), the City of Sheldon and the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation (SCDC) came together to announce “Comeback Cash”. This promotion is designed to help out the businesses of Sheldon that were hurt during the COVID-19 restrictions.

“Comeback cash” will ONLY be available Tuesday (June 30th), and it will be sold at the Crossroads Pavilion here in Sheldon from 7:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M or until it completely sells out. A maximum of $250,000 is being sold, and a $500 maximum is in place per family or business. Sheldon Chamber Director Shantel Oostra says the cash can be purchased at a discount for further incentive to purchase

(As above) “That cash can be purchased at a thirty-percent discount, with a maximum of $500 per household or business. So, if you purchase the full $500, you will pay $350 for that cash.”

Forty-two businesses are participating in the promotion. A full list will be provided at the Crossroads Pavilion in Sheldon as well as posters hung up around town, so residents know exactly where they can spend their Comeback Cash.
