Inwood, Iowa — School is about to start, and construction is wrapping up at the West Lyon School between Larchwood and Inwood.
Superintendent Shawn Kreman says classes are set to start this coming Wednesday, and while construction won’t be completely done, there are plans to deal with it and still have a great start to the year.
Kreman reminds us what the project entailed.
West Lyon area voters overwhelmingly approved a $2.89 million bond issue for the project in April 2017. The issue needed 60 percent to pass and received 70.68% of the vote.
