Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will hold two public hearings during their meeting this Wednesday April 4th. The first will be on the ratifying and approval of a sale of real estate in the Sunshine Addition, and will be held to resolve any deficiencies in the sale procedures that took place with the property in 2015.
The second hearing will be on the issuance of Sewer Revenue Capital Loan Notes not to exceed $8.5-million. They will also consider approval of a contract on the 2018 Floyd Industrial Park Improvement Project, consider approval of a contract on the Wastewater Treatment Facility Project, and consider adding a second full-time employee at the Crossroads Pavilion. That additional employee discussion was on the agenda for the last council meeting, but at that time the mayor felt the council didn’t have enough information to make a decision, and delayed action until this meeting.
Wednesday’s Sheldon City Council meeting will begin at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
