DOT Head Resigns At Governor’s Request

Statewide Iowa — (RI) — The man who leads the Iowa Department of Transportation has resigned at the request of the governor.

Mark Lowe says he is resigning on January 10th. A statement from the governor thanks Lowe and says she has decided to seek a change in leadership as she continues to build her administration.” Lowe had served as the interim director and then was appointed to the job by Reynolds in 2017. He issued a statement that says ““It’s been a terrific privilege to serve in this position.”
