Dr. Stubbe Offers Some Thoughts On Her Impending Retirement

Sheldon, Iowa — For the last ten years, Dr. Alethea Stubbe has been at the helm as President of Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon. But her time at NCC will soon be over.

We asked Stubbe about her thoughts upon reaching this milestone

She says she’s leaving her position in good hands.

Dr. Stubbe says the community and the community college have a special relationship.

While there are only ten days left of spring classes, with commencement scheduled for Friday, May 14th, Stubbe will continue in the presidency until June 30th, when Dr. Hartog will take over. Stubbe says she’s looking forward to spending more time with her family after she retires.
