Little Rock, Iowa — The family of a little boy from Little Rock who lost his life in a tragic accident is raising money for a memorial park in his memory, and there are two fundraisers planned this weekend.
Kari Jurrens is one of the people organizing it all for the family of Griffin Engelkes, and she tells us what’s going on.
In case you missed that, she said that they are raising funds for a “strider park.” A strider park is a park for strider bikes. Jurrens explains.
She tells us that Griffin really liked his strider bike.
The strider park would be built across from Griffin’s parents, Nate and Hannah Engelkes’s house.
Again, if you’d like to help with this memorial park, the fundraisers are this Friday night and Saturday in Little Rock.
