Go Fly A Kite And Color The Wind At Prairie Heritage Center Saturday

Sutherland, Iowa — The natural world is filled with color, shape, and design — that from the O’Brien County Conservation Board. They tell us that in 2019, they will be hosting a monthly Nature’s Art series to engage people of all ages in looking at nature through an artistic lens — and the next opportunity for that is coming up this Saturday.

Charlene Elyea, the O’Brien County Naturalist tells us more about “Color the Wind.”

If you’d like to try crafting an easy kite and set it sailing on the wind, you can help to fill the sky with color. She says there is no reservation required, and it’s suitable for all ages. You can call the Prairie Heritage Center at 712-295-7200 for more information.
