Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s Golden Egg has been found. The egg hunt, which is usually a week or so before Easter is your chance to win Sheldon Dollars.
This year, Gwenda Stegemann, Carol Fliear, and Sue Getting found the egg in Sheldon Crossing Tuesday night just west of the borrow pit and won $650 in Sheldon dollars!
The clues are available during the contest at participating merchants. The clues become more obvious each day, but the value goes down each day too, so the quicker it’s found, the more it’s worth. This year the value started at $750, according to the Sheldon Chamber.
