Governor Appoints 5 Area Residents To State Boards & Commissions

Northwest Iowa — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds appointed five northwest Iowans to various state boards and commissions Friday.

From our area, Bill Anderson of Cherokee County was appointed to the State Judicial Nominating Committee. Anderson’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Iowa Senate.

Other northwest Iowans appointed to Iowa boards and commissions who are not subject to Senate confirmation are:

Shannon Landauer, Clay County

Empower Rural Iowa Initiative-Investing
Kiana Johnson, O’Brien County

Northwest Regional STEM Advisory Board
Andrew Roelfs, Sioux County

The northwest Iowans appointed Friday by Governor Reynolds were among 104 individuals from around the state appointed to 42 state boards and commissions.
