Granville Trooper To Seek Iowa House District 5 Seat

Granville, Iowa — An Iowa State Trooper from Granville has announced his candidacy for the Iowa Legislature.

Republican Zach Dieken has announced his candidacy for Iowa State House, District 5. That district is comprised of O’Brien, Osceola and parts of Cherokee and Buena Vista counties. Dieken is an Iowa State Trooper who has worked in law enforcement for 10 years.

Dieken says that, as a state trooper and substitute teacher, he cares deeply for our communities and the future of this great state. Dieken says within the last two years we have seen our freedoms eroded away by an intrusive government. He says now more than ever we must stand up for what is right and stand up for ourselves.

Dieken says he will be a much-needed conservative voice for Northwest Iowans, who will defend the lives of the innocent preborn babies, champion 2nd Amendment rights and center parental rights in education.

With over 60 million babies murdered in the womb in the name of ‘choice’, gun rights under attack and parents concerned with radical indoctrination of their kids being labeled ‘domestic terrorists’, Dieken says we need courageous, Christian, conservatives in the state legislature to stop overreach from the federal government whose Washington values, he says, are diametrically opposed to the values of the voters in Iowa House District 5.

Dieken states that, as a state trooper he has already taken an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution and will continue to do so as your House District 5 state representative.

He reminds us that the primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022. To learn more about Dieken’s campaign, visit his Facebook page or email him at zachforhouse@protonmail.com.
