Northwest Iowa — The heat continues, with some areas topping out over 100 degrees on Monday. But the good news is some thunderstorms are supposed to roll through tonight and moderate the heat.
We talked to National Weather Service Meteorologist Phil Schumacher, who tells us it’s a hot one.
He says there’s good news and bad news about tonight. The good news is the heat wave will probably break. The bad news is there could be some severe weather.
Tuesday should be more mild than the past few days, says Schumacher.
Schumacher advises people to stay tuned to the weather as the week progresses and we should know more as the end of the week draws nearer.
