Iowa Court Of Appeals To Hear Oral Arguments In Northwest Iowa In Early June

Okoboji, Iowa — The Iowa Court of Appeals will be on the road early next month, hearing oral arguments in two cases, during a visit to northwest Iowa.

According to the Iowa Court of Appeals website, the Court of Appeals will hear arguments on Thursday, June 2nd during the Chautauqua Conference at Arrowood Resort in Okoboji.

A three judge panel will hear oral arguments in the Sioux County case of North Star Mutual Insurance Company vs Schley, while a separate three judge panel of the Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in the Monona County case of State of Iowa vs Stowe. Oral arguments in both cases will he held at 1:00 pm June 2nd.

According to the Iowa Court of Appeals website, both hearings are open to the public, with a question and answer session following.
