Sheldon, Iowa — More than 50 area couples were nominated for the Valentine’s Day special night out this Friday evening at the Crossroads Pavilion Event Center in Sheldon.
The fifty-two nominations were reviewed by a special panel
that did not include KIWA staff or management, and that body narrowed the group to four couples who will receive this special evening as KIWA’s guests.The four couples selected are: Josh & Renee Meis, of Orange City; Nate & Hannah Engelkes, of Little Rock; Megan & Herbert (Marco) Vazquez, of Sheldon; and Kent & Laura Lundquist, of Paullina.
Each of the four couples chosen will receive a dinner of prime rib or chicken cordon bleu catered by 1015 Steak Company in Sibley, dessert provided by Piece of Cake Bakery in Le Mars, one bottle of wine or champagne, drinks and their own personal wait staff. All this AND prime seating for the concert featuring the Emmy Award winning acapella group Tonic-Sol-Fa.
We would like to thank everyone who nominated a deserving couple, along with the panel who reviewed each nomination and selected the final four couples.
