Clive, Iowa — A lottery ticket purchased in Sioux Center turned out to be worth $30,000.
Jesse Cook of Kansas City won the 17th of 144 top prizes in the “Bonus Crossword” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at South Ridge Travel Plaza, on South Highway 75 in Sioux Center, and claimed his prize this week at the lottery’s regional office in Storm Lake.
