Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon-based company has announced a new face in a leadership role in their company.
Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. has announced the addition of Chantell Abshire as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Human Resources and Safety.
Maintainer President Shelley Morris says that Maintainer is excited to have someone with Abshire’s caliber join the Maintainer family. He says, “Chantell’s knowledge and experience will definitely be an asset as the company continues to grow.”
Maintainer officials say Abshire is originally from George. They say she is returning to Northwest Iowa after several years working in the oil industry as a CFO and consultant for the development of financial systems.
Maintainer says Abshire is a graduate of Northwestern College in Orange City, is a huge sports fan, and loves attending sporting events with her husband Edward and two sons, aged 18 and 6.
She says that after spending time working for large corporations, she is, “…excited and looking forward to coming back home and working for a strong company with a strong presence in the community.”
