Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College is going to offer a new welding program for HIGH SCHOOL students this fall.
Jason Anderson is NCC’s Workforce & Economic Development Director. He tells us that the program is the first of its kind at NCC.
He tells us how the program came together.
According to Anderson, there are two things that are required with an apprenticeship program.
He tells us what happens next.
Anderson says if the students then want to get their 4-credit welding certificate from NCC they can take a few remaining classes there and receive that certificate.
