Sheldon, Iowa — An application for a building permit that would allow the construction of a new convenience store in Sheldon has been filed with the City.
KwikStar filed the application which calls for a $3.5 million, 11,017 square foot building to be constructed. KIWA has now been able to verify that the location for the proposed building is the former Shopko property on Highway 18. The current building would be taken down to make room for the new KwikStar store.
No timeline has been announced for the project, and the building permit application is currently under review.
