Northwest Iowa — The second season of Iowa State Patrol Trooper Vince Kurtz’ “Windshield Time” videos is now underway, with the newest video, “Inanimate” being sent out to area high schools this week.
Trooper Kurtz says the video series, which is available on Trooper Kurtz’ YouTube channel, is aimed at the younger demographic, who make up far too many of the state’s traffic fatalities each year.
Kurtz says that, all too often, younger drivers think nothing can happen to them.
He says the “Windshield Time” videos are sent to 22 area high schools, to get the information in front of the people toward whom they’re aimed.
