Sheldon, Iowa — Summertime means fresh produce, but if you weren’t blessed with a green thumb, the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation says you can still get garden-fresh, locally grown produce.
The annual Sheldon Farmer’s Market is open each Monday and Friday, and Chamber Director Shanelle Matus tells us more.
When we think Farmer’s Market, we normally think veggies, but Matus says there’s MUCH more than just veggies available at the Sheldon Farmer’s Market.
In addition, she says there are special events each Monday evening at the Sheldon Farmer’s Market.
If you have produce, or other items, that you’d like to offer for sale during the Sheldon Farmer’s Market days, Matus says it’s very easy for you to register to become a vendor.
The Sheldon Farmer’s Market is located in the old Depot Building, which is located on Business 60 South, and is open Fridays from 11 to1, and Mondays from 4:30 to 6:30.
