Northwest Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund Awarded Funds For Low-Income Programs

Des Moines, Iowa — A regional housing authority will receive a share of $12.2 million in grants awarded today (Wed.) by the Iowa Finance Authority.

The Northwest Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund is getting $555,000 for initiatives to develop or preserve housing for low-income households. It includes things such as rental assistance, home ownership support, and assistance to local organizations and other efforts that directly address local housing needs.

The Northwest Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund serves Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, and Sioux counties.
