Primghar, Iowa — The O’Brien County Courthouse staff and the public will celebrate the courthouse’s 100th birthday this Friday, June 16th in Primghar.
We talked with O’Brien County Auditor Barb Rohwer, who gives us a few interesting facts about when the courthouse was built.
She tells us about the celebration planned for Friday.
She says there was a time capsule placed in the cornerstone of the courthouse when it was built, but that one will likely stay put for a long time.
The O’Brien County Courthouse Centennial Celebration is happening during the Cobblestone Days Festival going on this weekend in Primghar.
