Off, Off, Broadway To Perform “Pump Boys And Dinettes” At Cedar Cabin

Ashton, Iowa — It’s that time of year again. We know of no fewer than three dinner theatre productions going on in the next few weeks. At Otter Valley, they’re doing “Virgil’s Christmas Catch” the second weekend of November. In Rock Rapids, the River Valley Players are doing “Homecomings” starting on Halloween and going through Saturday, November 3rd. Also starting on Halloween and going through Sunday, November 4th, Off Off Broadway is putting on “Pump Boys and Dinettes” at the Cedar Cabin in Ashton.

We had a chance to talk with director Tim Nobles about the show.

As Nobles says, two of the actors are Nobles and King Hickman, of Sheldon. Nobles says there are some familiar names to northwest Iowa audiences.

Nobles gives us a little idea of the plot.

Nobles encourages you to check out Off, Off Broadway on Facebook too. He says tickets to “Pump Boys and Dinettes” are $25, and that includes a meal before the show. He says you can call the Cedar Cabin to make reservations at 724-6341, or Lori Cutsinger at 324-4498.

Tom Cutsinger says your choice of entrée will be Inside Round, a Mushroom Chop, or Fried Shrimp. All dinners come with a baked potato and salad, and the relish tray.

Again, the show dates are October 31st through November 4th, at the Cedar Cabin in Ashton.
