Sibley, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in National Night Out 2015, which is set for Tuesday, August 4th.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says National Night Out 2015 is designed to heighten crime, drug and violence awareness; generate support for and participation is local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and law enforcement-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office will be observing National Night Out 2015 from 6:00 until 8:30 Tuesday evening, August 4th at the Sheriff’s Office in Sibley. They invite you come by, meet the Sheriff, Sheriff’s Deputies and Dispatchers, and Hunter the drug dog. They’ll have a guided tour of the Osceola County Jail, as well. In addition, they’ll have Child ID Kits available, you’ll be able to register your bicycle, and ask any questions about how the Sheriff’s Office works. They’ll even have cookies and refreshments on hand.
