Sheldon, Iowa — A group of local dignitaries and businesspeople were on hand Friday morning as the ribbon was cut on Sweet Puddle Jumpers Boutique in uptown Sheldon.
The festivities began with comments from Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth, who spoke on behalf of the City of Sheldon.
Sheldon Chamber Director Shanelle Matus, speaking on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation, called Sweet Puddle Jumpers a great asset to the Sheldon retail community.
Skip Tanner is President of the Sheldon Ambassadors, and presented the store’s owner, Renee Popkes, with a plaque.
Popkes tells about some of the items Sweet Puddle Jumpers has to offer.
Popkes says customers can take advantage of 15% off specials Friday, in honor of her Ribbon Cutting.
Sweet Puddle Jumpers is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is located next to Mastbergen Jewelry, at 320-9th Street, downtown in Sheldon. Or, Popkes says, you can contact her through her Facebook page.
