RiseFest 2019 Is This Weekend

Sheldon, Iowa — Today is opening day for RiseFest 2019, the Christian music festival that takes place each June in Sheldon.

Today’s main stage schedule at RiseFest includes Lee Stover from 4:10 to 4:30pm. Matt Maher will take to the main stage from 5:00 to 6:00, followed by Owen Githanga from 6:00 to 6:15, and Jeremy Camp from 6:50 to 7:50. From 7:50 to 8:20 tonight Justin Jenness will be on the main stage. Day number one winds up with Skillet taking the RiseFest stage from 9:00 to 10:15 tonight. This marks Skillet’s first appearance at RiseFest.

In addition to the main stage acts, RiseFest attendees can visit the Kids Zone, the Tween Tent, ROTR Youth Tent activities, and much more. Concessions will also be available on the RiseFest Grounds, which are located on Country Club Road, north of Highway 18, or across the street from Fareway in far northeastern Sheldon.

Day #2 of RiseFest 2019 is Saturday and main stage entertainment begins at noon with AC & Brady. From 12:55 to 1:25 Saturday afternoon Cade Thompson will take to the RiseFest main stage, followed by the dance group Exiles, who will be performaing from 1:50 to 2:05 Saturday afternoon. I Am They take to the stage from 2:35 until 3:20 pm. Crowd favorite Plumb will appear between 3:50 and 4:35 pm. Following a short break, We Are Messengers will perform on the RiseFest main stage from 5:20 to 6:20 Saturday evening, followed at Zach Williams from 7:05 to 8:05. Rise Ministries founder and president Rob Roozeboom will speak on the main stage from 8:05 to 9:05 Saturday night, followed by the final main stage act of 2019, Newsboys.

Throughout the day Saturday the Seminar Tent will feature Luke Nelson, Tony Harris, Joy Fopma, Kayla Raymond, and Colors of Hope. The Kids Zone, Tween Tent and Rise on the Road Youth Tent will be available throughout the day, as well.
