Rock Valley Officers, Emergency Responders Train For Active Shooter Situation

Rock Valley, Iowa — Officers and emergency responders in Rock Valley are better prepared to handle an active shooter situation after some training that involved all the City’s departments last week.

Rock Valley Police Officer Kyle Post tells us about it.

He tells us how it went.

We asked if they learned anything during the talk and the exercise.

He says it was a multi-day event.

He says as a whole, they couldn’t be more pleased with how emergency responders and law enforcement responded to all the curve balls they were thrown, adjusting on-the-fly as needed.
