Northwest Iowa — We’ll see occasional showers and storms off and on through the day, but the severe weather threat increases heading into this evening as a warm front lifts into the region.
Expect the main threats with the strongest storms to be gusty damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter to half dollar size but cannot rule out a brief tornado or two. Severe weather threat will wind down later this evening, ending by midnight.
We continue to monitor potential for severe weather with a strong weather system moving into the region Thursday. Make sure you continue to monitor for updates as it approaches!
