Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa sheep producers who registered to attend, will be learning about new research in sheep nutrition and how the Veterinary Feed Directive will affect them, Tuesday evening when ISU Extension and Outreach holds their Feeding Ewes and Feedlot Lambs meeting at the Sheldon Pizza Ranch.
Beth Doran with ISU Extension and Outreach says that the meeting will start with a buffet dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by a short business meeting conducted by Shane Kirschten, president of the Northwest Iowa Sheep Producers Association.
The sheep meeting is cooperatively sponsored by ISU Extension and Outreach, Northwest Iowa Sheep Producers Association, Iowa Sheep Industry Association, Iowa Sheep and Wool Promotion Board and Premier 1.
The buffet dinner and meeting will be held at the Sheldon Pizza Ranch.
