Sheldon FFA Gearing Up For New Pumpkin Day Fundraiser Saturday

Sheldon, Iowa — A new fundraiser is coming up on Saturday for the Sheldon High School FFA.

Mariel Feekes, who is the Sheldon FFA Reporter, tells us about “Pumpkin Day.”


Kourtney Dekker, who is one of the chapter members who helped plan the activity tells us more.


Sheldon FFA Advisor Gene Bomgaars tells us how the new fundraiser got started.


“Pumpkin Day” is this Saturday, October 12th from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. You’re to meet in the parking lot across from LLRC at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, and the hayride will shuttle from the parking lot to the pumpkin patch every 15 minutes. It’ll be $2.50 per mid-size pumpkin and $5 for a large pumpkin.
