Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon student is one of six northwest Iowans to receive a $1,000 scholarship from Hy-Vee, Inc.
According to the supermarket company, Hannah Uhl of Sheldon was one of 90 scholarship recipients from throughout Hy-Vee’s eight state trade area, and one of six from this area, to receive one of the scholarships.
According to Hy-Vee, Inc., 90 high school seniors and college students are receiving the scholarships, in honor of the grocery store chain’s 90th anniversary. Scholarships were awarded to high school students who work for Hy-Vee, or have a parent who works for the company, and to college students who are employed by Hy-Vee.
