Sheldon, Iowa — The 2nd production of the 2017 Sheldon High School Summer Theatre season is set to open Thursday night.
This week’s show is entitled, The Red Velvet Cake War, and is directed by Sheldon alum Chrissy DeKok. DeKok tells us a little about the show’s plot.
Jennifer Pennings plays the “old grandma” in The Red Velvet Cake War, and talks about the character she’ll bring to life on the Summer Theatre stage.
The lead role in the production is played by Sarah Yocum, who tells us about her very colorful character.
DeKok says the show will run through Saturday night.
Tickets will be available at the door each evening, and The Red Velvet Cake War will be presented in the Sheldon High School Auditorium as the 2nd production of the Sheldon High School Summer Theatre season.
