Sibley, Iowa — This year is a milestone year for not only the City of Sibley, but Osceola County as a whole, and the Osceola County Fair.
Sibley Chamber Director Ashley Ackerman says the city, the county, and the fair are all celebrating their 150th anniversaries this year. She tells us that plans are being made now for several celebratory activities.
She says one of the events actually starts already next month.
She says that this year, they’re going to combine Good Old Summertime with the Osceola County Fair for one big Sesquicentennial celebration.
