A strong winter storm arrives today, bringing moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow through early Wednesday morning.
Strong north winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected, with gusts as high as 40 – 50 mph. Highest wind gusts are expected late tonight into Wednesday. The main impacts are limited visibility, areas of blowing and drifting snow and snow-covered/slippery roads. Travel will become very difficult later this afternoon and tonight. Snow will come to an end from southwest to northeast late tonight into early Wednesday.
