Primghar, Iowa — If you’ve got a fishing trip planned to Canada, or if you’re planning a getaway to Cabo San Lucas or some other foreign locale, you might want to listen up — especially if it’s been a number of years since you renewed your passport.
O’Brien County Auditor Barb Rohwer says that you should check to see when your passport expires, as many of them are expiring now.
She says she has had some disappointed people come into her office.
So Rohwer says check your passports, and know that if the expiration date is within six months, you might have issues when you attempt to travel.
