Orange City, Iowa — Voters in the Unity Christian Society overwhelmingly approved a construction project on Tuesday night.
Unity Christian Principal Wayne Dykstra tells us it was a positive outcome from his point of view.
We asked Mr. Dykstra what’s next for Unity Christian.
He says they have the shell of the building planned, but they need to decide how to utilize the space.
Dykstra gives us an idea of the timeline.
Dykstra tells us that construction will take probably a year after the money is in place. He says they are encouraged by the overwhelming vote, and he says they think the results may be indicative of how much monetary support they may find.
