Showers and thunderstorms will gradually come to an end from northwest to southeast today, allowing for a cooler and drier period on Wednesday. Winds increase Thursday which will start to return moisture and start a gradual warming along with a chance for thunderstorms once again by Thursday night. The chance for storms will peak late Friday and Friday night, before generally settling in to a drier and pleasant Labor Day Weekend. Labor Day itself may once again bring a threat for more widespread storms.
