Gusty winds in place across the region this morning are currently causing areas of blowing and drifting snow. The strongest winds are expected to continue until about mid-morning, before gradually weakening thru the afternoon hours. With that said, winds will still be elevated this afternoon and capable of causing patchy blowing and drifting snow.
Very cold air and breezy winds will lead to bitterly cold wind chill values today and tonight. Temperatures will moderate some into the weekend but remain below normal. Additionally, the pattern will remain active with occasional light snow chances.
