When Should I Go To The ER?

Sheldon, Iowa — When should I go to the emergency room? That question was tackled on Wednesday morning’s KIWA Morning Show.

Jessica Justi and Sandy Muyskens from Sanford Sheldon appeared on the show to answer questions about visits to the ER. Muyskens talked about reasons you should get to the emergency room.

Justi reminded listeners that ER visits take time.

Muyskens tells us who we can expect to be taking care of us during an ER visit.

Some extra training is needed for someone to work in the ER, according to Justi.

Muyskens says that in a rural hospital setting, like Sanford Sheldon, ER staff often know the patients coming into their emergency room.
