A strong winter storm will pass to our south today and tonight, spreading light to moderate snow into areas mainly south of Highway 18.
A very tight snowfall gradient is expected on the north edge of the snow shield, leading to high uncertainty in snowfall amounts from northern Nebraska into northern Iowa. Accumulations could vary by several inches from north to south, even just across one county.
