IARN — Reduced tillage practices could benefit the bottom line through something called Carbon Intensity Scoring that’s being driven by recent legislation. Mitchell Hora from Washington County has long been on the cutting edge of environmental stewardship, starting his own business at a very young age called Continuum Ag. He farms with his dad, Brian, and they are one of 39 farm families to win this year’s Iowa farm Environmental Leader Award at the Iowa State Fair.
