IARN — On June 30th the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released their Acreage & Grain Stocks Report. It was the first planting information we received since March and gave us a picture of demand going forward. While it was by no means earth-shattering, the soybean industry is taking a positive look at the news.
Mac Marshall is Vice President of Market Intelligence for the U.S. Soybean Export Council. He talks about what conditions helped play a role in the information we received and why it can be taken positively.
