O’Brien County, Iowa — The Annual Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County Golf Tournament is coming up on Friday, June 6th.
We talked to Pam Thornton, who is a Board Member of Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County, on our Talk of the Town program, and she tells us about it.
Thornton tells us the signup deadline is upon us. She says it’s this Friday, May 23rd. Again, the golf tournament is at the Sanborn Golf Course on Friday, June 6th, with a 5:00 p.m. start. It’s a 4-person best ball.
$75 includes golf, a cart, a mulligan, snacks, dinner, and a chance at door prizes. The top two teams will be awarded prizes as well. To register, call or text 712-261-1914 as soon as possible.
