Estherville, Iowa – The Estherville-Lincoln Central Community School District has a new superintendent. It was announced this past Friday, Feb. 14th.
Andrew Armstead has been hired to the position.
Armstead currently is the principal at Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute High School in Mapleton. He has experience in planning and staff professional development and budgeting along with teacher supervision and evaluation. He also previously was a middle and high school principal at De Smet Schools in South Dakota. He also has experience as a technology coordinator, dean of students and instructional coach and has experience in athletic coaching.
Jeff Dicks will be stepping down in his role as interim Superintendent at E-L-C once Armstead officially assumes his duties this coming July 1st.
