Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College officials are announcing the retirements of some of their employees.
After 14 years of service, Karla Harris will be retiring from NCC. Harris is a math instructor and learning center specialist.
Lesa Stofferan is retiring after more than 20 years of service. She’s an Administrative Assistant in the Workforce & Economic Development Division.
Todd Huesman is also retiring. He’s put in 25 years of service at NCC and is the college’s Financial Aid Coordinator.
Brad Gill is retiring from his position at NCC. Gill will retire from full-time teaching after 17 years of dedicated service, though he plans to continue teaching online at NCC and other institutions.
Linda Hibma, NCC’s Receptionist and Information Services provider, will retire after 21 years of dedicated service as what NCC officials are calling “the welcoming voice and face of NCC.”
After 23 years of service, Lisa Story will retire from her NCC position. She’s the director of Enrollment Management.
Paula Meyer will also be retiring after nearly 13 years of service. She’s NCC’s pathway navigator and student advisor.
And Mark Bohnet will retire near the end of July too, after 35 years of service. Bohnet is an electrical instructor at NCC.
