Estherville – Authorities in Emmet county have released information into an investigation earlier this month that resulted in the arrests of two people on drug charges.
The Estherville Police Department says it goes back to the late afternoon of November 12th when the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with a possible domestic incident in a moving vehicle, which was heading into Estherville southbound on Highway 4. Officers pulled over the vehicle and deployed a K-9 that alerted to the presence of illegal drugs. Authorities seized the vehicle and obtained and executed a search warrant on it later that evening. It resulted in police seizing about 26.6 grams of methamphetamine, a THC vape pen and drug paraphernalia.
54-year-old Dannie Christian of Ceylon, Minnesota was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, a drug tax stamp violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
45-year-old Sara Robertson of Estherville was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
