Boyden, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man was taken to the hospital after an accident southeast of Boyden early on Saturday morning.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, at about 3:10 a.m., 47-year-old Aman Tunga of Sioux Falls was driving a 2017 Freightliner M2 when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch and rolled.
Tunga was transported by the Boyden Ambulance to Sanford-Sheldon Medical Center.
The Freightliner sustained approximately $50,000 in damage.
Tunga was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
The Boyden Fire Department and Boyden Ambulance Squad assisted the sheriff’s office.
